David LeBauer, Ph.D.
About me:
I am interested in leveraging my understanding of how natural systems work to inform management of ecosystems so that they are more sustainable and more efficient at providing services. My background is in earth system science and biogeochemistry and my experience includes lab and field research as well as data synthesis, statistical analysis, ecosystem modeling. I have developed a number of open source software tools and open access databases. And I utilize field observations and experimental and models to predict how carbon, nitrogen, and water cycles are impacted by global change and management and apply knowledge of these interactions to support development and management of efficient and sustainable ecosystems.
